*Wilma attaches a funnel to her former Master's frontal lobe and pours in five shots of her extra-strength espresso*
*Deciding to be festive, Wilma then pours on top of it some frothed milk, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and then jabs in a yummy candy cane*
*Wilma starts to giggle, then sees her former Master's head starting to buzz in response, and quickly hides under the table in preparation for the immenent explosion*

Marionette_lobo, Very well written, but the transformation is proceeding slowly, no additional transformations occur without the dice initiating them first. And important plot points come from the way in which people are changing.
Tomorrow's main number:4
Minor number: 4 again.
Muhahaha!

Ooooh!!!!
*sighs with embarassment*
See, when you said Violet's hand and wrist had transformed but you stopped at that, I thought you were passing the ball to me to allow me to continue and complete the transformation in the direction I wanted.
I didn't realize you were saying that ONLY her hand and wrist transformed and ... nothing else.
I'm sorry about that. Would you like me to undo what I wrote last night and save it for later? I'd be okay with that, as I don't want to upset your plans for the story in any way.
*bites her lip gently and looks at you for direction*

I meant for Kylie to set the wind-up down on its side on the shelf, rather than send it walking...but eh, go with the flow. ;-)

Okay, I removed what I had written about the transformation from the storyline.
Again, I'm sorry I got all mixed up about things.
To make sure I don't make similar mistakes in the future, would you mind explaining the rules a bit in more detail? What can I write about? What can I not write about? Things like that.
Thanks! *smiles gently*

I will hopefully be able to join in on the story as soon as possible. My computer currently got some massive virus so I am without a computer for the time being.

Err ... can somebody explain the rules a bit? Are transformations the only thing on the barred list? I've been holding back from posting because I don't want to write something else that won't fit in what's allowed.
Thanks!

I'm pretty new to forum-based RP as well, but I think the idea is to think of it sort of like tabletop RP (if you've ever done that), where there are the players, and then the DM who actually determines what does or doesn't happen. In other words, if you decided your character was going to try and escape, for example, instead of writing a story snippet where you go about escaping, you would write a story snippet explaining what you character tries to do, and the DM (MoT in this case) would respond saying whether it worked or not. If that makes sense.

Aha!
I've done both online RPG and tabletop RPG quite a bit in the past, and they both have their unique aspects that make them fun.
With tabletop, there's of course the element of immediacy, in that you can say, "I attempt to punch the elf," and the gamemaster either tells you to roll the appropriate dice or decides another way if your plan worked. With that in mind, substantial control is handed over to the gamemaster with the idea that everybody is actively communicating in a quick manner.
With the online RPGs I've played, however, in order to keep the story flowing without having to wait for the gamemaster to write everything, the players are usually allowed a lot of leeway in deciding and detailing what happens to them -- basically making them co-storytellers along with the gamemaster (who often just sits back and watches them, nudging where needed).
It sounds like what's going on here is a bit in between those two ideas, and so I'll try playing it so I say only what my character is definitely doing or attempting to do, and then I'll let MoT get back with his response.
Thanks for the explanation!
*crosses her fingers and dives into the fray*

So I finally have a functioning computer again, and wouldn't mind jumping into my character, Becca (or Becka how I've noticed the name has changed to ) If that's alright with MoT.
